Is Noir - Dark Mode for Safari not working / having issues for you?

Hello! This update of Noir brings a lot of website fixes and improvements. It also includes a new feature that will make some users quite happy: # Port-specific Website Settings You can now change Noir's website settings per port of a domain/IP address. If you don't know what that means, the feature is most likely not for you. But if you do know what it means, it's quite likely that this will prove useful for you. To use it, simply open the Noir window in Safari, click on the arrow next to the website's name to select on what level you want to change Noir's website settings, and select the option with the port. 2024.1.8: Fixes Noir sometimes not working on iOS and iPadOS 17.4 in specific circumstances. This brand new update of Noir brings a ton of website fixes and performance improvements. Noir is now even faster and more reliable in darkening your favorite websites. There's also a few new features and other improvements: - Added an option to the About screen to reset all settings. - If you tweak Noir's setting for a specific URL, those settings now also apply to similar URLs with different query parameters. If you're confused by what this means, then this feature probably is not for you, but if you do know, chances are you're going to be quite happy with it :) - Additionally, if you set up URL-specific settings for a URL that does contain query parameters, you can now clean the URL and strip the parameters in the Noir app. - The Noir menu in Safari now shows an info notice when you're in Private Browsing Mode, reminding you that if you change the Noir settings of a website, the website will show up in the Noir app. - Fixed an issue in the Noir app where the app would go back to the main screen when attempting to make changes to themes or keyboard shortcuts. Hi there! This update of Noir adds even more website fixes and improvements. Previously, in the release notes... Version 2022.3 of Noir added support for an exciting and brand new feature in iOS 16: Focus Filters. With Focus Filters, you can use a specific Noir theme while a specific Focus mode is active. For example, you can make Noir use its extra dark black theme when your 'Sleep' Focus is active, and the sepia theme for when you are in your 'Reading' Focus. Additionally, you can also have Noir always on (or off) while you are in certain Focus modes. Want Noir to always be on while you're in your 'Concentration' Focus, even when your device's Dark Mode is not enabled? Focus Filters will make that very easy to set up. With Focus Filters, it is now even easier to configure Noir exactly the way you like it at any moment. Especially in combination with the custom themes that were added in the last update, the customization possibilities are endless. To get started with Noir's Focus Filters, update to iOS 16 and go to the Focus page in the Settings app. Select a Focus for which you want to customize Noir's behavior, and scroll to the bottom. You can change the background and text colors, and also set image dimming and (new in this update!) image gray scaling per theme. After you have created the perfect theme, it's really easy to share this theme with other users of Noir. Just send them the special link and when they open it on their device, they can import your theme and start using it immediately! Not the creative type? Don't worry, Noir now also comes with a library of over 20 pre-made themes that you can now add with just a single tap. # Customizable Keyboard Shortcuts You can now tweak which specific key combinations are used for Noir's keyboard shortcuts. Hello! This is another update that fixes many of the issues that you have reported, and brings improvements to the Noir extension in general. In particular, in some cases Noir would stop working correctly when websites updated their styling after a page was loaded. That should now be fixed. Hi there! In this update, I've fixed an issue where Noir would stop working if you had the Raindrop.io Safari Extension active at the same time. A recent update of that extension caused Noir to stop working when it runs on a page. That should now be fixed, and Noir should be getting along nicely with Raindrop.io again! Additionally, this update includes many minor fixes and improvements of Noir based on the website reports that you have submitted. It adds many new features to the Noir app and extension: # Page-Specific Website Settings You can now select whether Website Settings should apply to an entire website, just a subdomain, or even just the specific page you're on. # Custom Schedule for Auto Mode Manually select the hours during which Noir will darken websites in Auto mode. Go to Advanced Settings to enable. # Two New Themes There are two new themes to choose from: Sepia and Dracula, which gives websites a dark and purple look. # Status Indicator on Noir Icon The Noir icon in Safari now shows a small indicator when Noir is disabled or not active. # Configurable Keyboard Shortcuts On iPad, you can now select which states Noir's keyboard shortcuts toggle through when activated. # Website Fixes & Improvements Every update of Noir always includes many fixes and improvements based on the website reports that have been sent in, and this update is no exception.
