ACNH Travel Guide Developer Updates

Version 2026.2.1 11 March 2026

Hi there! This update of the app brings a few nice features and improvements:
- Furniture, wallpapers, and flooring now show you how many HHA points they're worth.
- Added a new “Visited Campsite” toggle for villagers. All toggles for villager tracking are now grouped in a single menu.
- Resetti is now available to select as an additional visitor, as he can randomly visit islands since the 3.0 update.
- 2026.2.1: Updated the button for the additional villager toggles to make it easier to see which toggles are enabled

Hi there! This brand new version of the app adds full support for the 3.0 update of the game. All new items (all new furniture, clothing, wallpapers, tools and more) have been added.
There are some other smaller improvements too:
- The Turnip price chart now shows the range of predicted prices for the remainder of the week
- There's a new option to always automatically mark all item variations as owned when tapping the checkmark toggle
- 2026.1.1: Added a new toggle to keep track of Hotel visitors, which you can enable in the settings of the app

Hi! A few weeks ago a user reached out to let me know that the balloon timer community resource was no longer available. Unfortunately the original version is nowhere to be found anymore, so... I built a new version of it. It's available as a website and in the app, and has a few nice features added on top of it, such as the option to play a sound whenever a new balloon spawns, and you can also adjust your island time (which is automatically set when you open the website through the app).
If you were using the balloon timer before, I hope you enjoy this new version!

PS, here's what was new in the previous update:
# Search Tab
There is now a dedicated tab for search, and another one for the catalog. This means search is always just one tap away, no matter where you are in the app. And you can freely browse the Home tab without having to go all the way back every time you need to search for something. One more bonus tip: tap on the search tab a second time to immediately activate the search field.
Don't like the new tabs? You can always go back to the way things were in the settings on the More tab.
# Search History
The new Search tab also shows your search history, so you can quickly go back to previous items.
# Smarter Search
Search is a lot smarter. For example, you can now search for 'Paper Butterfly' to find the 'Paper Kite Butterfly', and 'MaSuMo' will match the 'Madagascan Sunset Moth'. You can usually find what you're looking for with a lot less typing. But if typing a lot is your thing, no worries, that still works too of course.
# And more...
- Added quick change buttons to the Time Travel setting page, so you can quicky change your Time Travel by a day, hour, or minute
- The app has an updated icon and received a few other small tweaks to prepare it for the latest iOS update.

Hello! I hope you're having a great time catching those summer (or winter for you Southern Hemisphere folks) critters!
This is a small update that fixes an issue where the Home card for certain events would not show up correctly. That's all, but that still gives me the opportunity to wish you a very nice day in these release notes!

Hi, and happy 2025! Here's another small update for ACNH Travel Guide, bringing a few fixes and small improvements, but a few nice new features too:
- The islands to which Kapp'n can take you are now added to the Mystery Islands section on the More tab
- DIY Recipes now show you all the materials you need to craft an item, including materials needed for any recipes you may need to craft first (2025.1.1)
- The rarity of critters is now shown right next to their names in lists
- Tap and hold on any item in a list to see a quick preview of that item
- Events held on different dates each year will now always show the correct date, even when Time Travelling
- ... and by tapping on the date at the top of the event details, you'll see when this event occurs each year
- Fish now list how good their vision is, which influences how easily they see your bobber
- Added 3 new NPC icons for custom tasks, for Wendell, Wardell, and Niko
- 2025.1.1: some minor fixes
I hope you like this update! And as always, my sincere thanks for still using the app after almost 5 years since I originally released it!

Hello! It's been a while, but here's a brand new update for ACNH Travel Guide!
# Notepad & Item Notes
There's now a new Notepad card on the Home tab. You can use it to keep general notes while you're playing. Use it for whatever you want to remember! Additionally, in the settings you can enable separate notes for every item. When enabled, a notes field will show up on the item details pages, which you can use to keep notes on specific items. Of course, all notes sync automatically using iCloud.
# Lock Screen Widgets
A brand new set of widgets for your Lock Screen can show you which bugs, fish, and sea creatures are available right now or show you any ongoing events or shopping seasons. And for a more personal touch, there are also widgets to show you a random villager, or the next birthday villager right on your Lock Screen.
# Katrina's Fortunes Guide
A brand new tool can help you quickly unravel Katrina's daily luck and friendship readings. Find out what effects are waiting for you today or what your current level of friendship is with your favorite villager.
# And more:
- Long press on a specific day on the Visitors card on the Home tab to quicky set the visitor for that day
- Added a Home Screen widget to show a random villager that's currently living on your island
- A button at the bottom of the Home tab now lets you quickly configure the visible cards and their order
- Various accessibility improvements and fixes for VoiceOver
- The Dream Addresses tool has been removed. Most Dream Addresses are outdated by now, and it's now also possible to visit a random dream address from within the game.
- 2024.1.1: Fixes an issue where the contents on the Home tab would jump around when activating the search bar
- 2024.1.2: Fixes a typo of Katrina's name (I hope she won't send bad luck my way out of spite) and some other minor issues
